Jean Paul Gaultier x Crocs Collab Drops in Less Than Two Weeks

Crocs is officially turning its attention towards luxury fashion designers and moving full steam ahead with a brand new collaboration. Featuring the beautiful work of Jean Paul Gaultier, Crocs is set to release three new styles on August 28th, 2025. The collaboration embodies a fearless twist, taking classic house staples and turning them into modern cult pieces for your feet. It’s truly reimagining the idea of Gaultier’s iconic cone bra and corset design in shoe form.

This new collection will include the Bae clogs, Hydra clogs, and the Classic clogs. My favorite out of the three is definitely the classic clogs, specifically because it is styled with Gaultier’s signature branded pin in silver. It truly elevates the shoe from an ordinary black style to absolutely original.

All that aside, I would never purchase the collection. As much as I love JPG, I cannot get down with wearing Crocs. Personally, I feel you either love them or absolutely detest them. There’s nothing wrong with Crocs to me. I don’t mind when other people wear them. Shit, half of the time I see them styled beautifully by others. I just can’t get down with them. Sue me. I’ve never liked them and probably never will.

That’s the beauty of fashion and personal taste. Fashion doesn’t have to look the same on everyone, and it shouldn’t. Style is all about perspective. Your version of chic might be someone else’s complete mess. Your version of glamour might be pearls and cleanly ironed lines, while mine is leopard print and a mini skirt at 2am. That’s what makes it exciting. We’re all playing the same game with different rules. We all bring our own ideas to the table, and somehow it all collides into this big, messy, gorgeous conversation called fashion.

Fashion is this universal love language where you don’t even need to speak; you just show up, and suddenly someone across the room gets it. It’s constantly evolving, and somehow, in all our differences, we still come together to obsess over the art. Fashion isn’t just clothes; it’s culture. It’s one of my favorite things in the world simply because it brings all humans together without us even noticing. At the end of the day, this idea is what makes fashion addictive. It’s about the story you’re telling, the look you’re serving, and the way a simple pair of clogs can spark a whole conversation. So yes, I won’t be purchasing a pair of the Jean Paul Gaultier x Crocs, but I cannot wait to see them styled by everyone who does.

Keep Spilling Babes, xx.
